The Pueblo County Board of Commissioners approved several administrative items: a pricing update for a water-heater replacement contract and an expansion of consultant scope to complete 2025 accounting work, and it confirmed two advisory-board appointments.
Staff said amendment #2 to the contract with FRPHI Residential Construction Inc. (doing business as Flow Rite) updates the vendor pricing list for the Colorado Energy Office Weatherization Program (Region 2). The presenter said the amendment does not change the contract maximum or existing terms; during discussion a commissioner confirmed the contract maximum is $175,000. Staff emphasized the amendment is fully grant-funded and will not require county funds.
On accounting services, the board approved expanding the scope under a master services agreement with E. Bailey Advisory LLC to finish unresolved 2025 accounting tasks and to help prepare the county's financial statements. Commissioners noted the 2025 close and audit have been unusually difficult because of the transition to a new financial system and supported additional outside oversight.
The board also approved two personnel appointments by voice votes: Jennifer Priest to the Community Services Block Grant Advisory Council and Dr. Alexandra Kellogg to the Community Services Advisory Committee/Commission (joint city-county appointment; term through 04/30/2027).
