County staff updated the commissioners on the enterprise resource planning (ERP) replacement project on Sept. 28, describing the planned training and timeline ahead of the system's go-live.
"Our plan is to go live, with the system in early November," Brandon told the court, saying the county would use the commissioner's courtroom for a full-day training session on Oct. 21 starting about 08:1508:30 and running into the afternoon. Staff said representatives from the vendor (Harris/CitySuite) will lead the training and that laptops would be provided so attendees could practice entering requisitions and running reports on a test server.
Departments unable to attend the full session will be offered follow-up coordination by purchasing and IT staff. Brandon described the ERP replacement as an ARPA-funded project and said departments must be able to process requisitions and pull financial reports before the scheduled go-live.
The court treated this as an informational update; no procurement action was needed at the Sept. 28 meeting.
