Skyler Kasnoff, a University of Denver student and Clayton resident, told the council the bus stop at Bruce Randolph and Colorado Boulevard (Stop 10942) is only three feet from his fence and has created long‑running safety and sanitation problems. "This bus stop sits 3 feet away from my fence, and for 4 years...this bus stop endangers public transit," Kasnoff said, noting police officer Guzman recommended removing the stop's roof to discourage a persistent congregation of 14–16 people.
Homeowner Gwendolyn Kasnoff provided a multi‑year account of trespass, theft, vandalism, assault and property damage she said are associated with activity around the stop, saying she has security footage and police reports. "I have security footage documenting all of this," she said, and asked the council to coordinate RTD, Denver Police and city agencies to conduct a comprehensive assessment of lighting, accessibility, sanitation, enforcement and trespassing with measurable timelines.
The public commenters urged tangible agency coordination rather than repeat documentation. The council did not take action during the session; speakers requested direct follow‑up, including a 30‑minute meeting with Councilman Watson to discuss next steps.
