Commissioners approve multiple bid awards, grants and procurement adjustments in routine packet

Commissioners approved a slate of procurement and budget actions across multiple departments. The county awarded the sand‑salt mix contract to 3B Enterprise as the lowest responsive bidder (per‑ton rates were discussed for Meeker and Rangely), and approved the 2026 Culvert Supplies Project to Skyline Steel in the amount of $19,935.76. The board also accepted a tree removal services agreement not to exceed $11,200 after noting local bids were higher and some removals will require technical work near buildings.

Separately, the board approved non‑appropriation of $28,536.39 to Great Lakes Data Systems in the 2027 budget and approved a notice of cancellation/termination/nonrenewal for Great Lakes Data Systems services; the motions followed prior discussion of purchasing policy. A minor contract modification with CRC Inc. for the County Road 33 project increased the statement of work by $1,300 to address an unexpected concrete structure failure requiring resetting a cattle guard. All motions were carried by voice votes.
