County outlines Parkview parking project and planned county road resurfacings for 2027

The Highway Commissioner updated the committee that the Parkview parking lot reconstruction has finished excavation and stone placement for phase two and that crews expect to finish grading and move to paving within one to two weeks. "Within the next week or two, we'll start seeing that Parkview project wrap up too," he said.

The department also identified planned projects for 2027: a road diet design on County Road AP (Menasha) leading to a 2028 construction window, County Road E continuation (approximately 7.15 miles of pulverize and pave), County Road T mill & resurface (about 4.17 miles), and a profile mill and pave for County Road II (roughly one mile). Committee members asked for mileage clarifications and staff provided approximate lengths and sequencing.
