Commissioners approve $1.09M in transfers and $6.79M in claims payments

Miss Williams of the auditor's office presented financial items the court was asked to approve, including line-item transfers totaling $1,087,384 and budget amendments of $130,887. “What was that? I was that line item transfers in the amount of $1,087,384 in budget amendments in the amount of $130,887 and ask for your approval,” she said while reading the request.

On payment of claims, Williams asked approval to pay bills totaling $6,785,293.05. The court moved, seconded and approved both the transfers/amendments and the payment of claims by voice vote with no recorded opposition. The motions carried and actions will be reflected in the county’s financial records for FY27.
