Council clears consent agenda, approves Montecito Medical assignment and sets hearing for 8201 Metcalf

The council approved the consent agenda without item removals. Under regular agenda business, staff asked the council to consent to a transfer/assignment involving Lot 15 of the Galleria 115 development: the proposed buyer is Montecito Medical, described in staff remarks as a specialized buyer that owns hundreds of medical office properties. Council moved and approved resolution 5159 to consent to the assignment.

Staff also introduced resolution 5161 to set a public hearing date for a proposed project at 8201 Metcalf (current site includes a funeral home and a single-family house); council passed the resolution to set the hearing date. Staff noted planning-commission conformity and Fayette Committee direction earlier in the review process.
