The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) in Grove City adjourned its scheduled meeting after officials determined there was no quorum, the clerk said. The clerk reported "one excused and one unexcused absence" and noted that "at least two members" needed to be present to conduct business. The clerk also relayed the law department's recommendation to wait briefly: "The law department recommends leaving this meeting open until, let's say, 05:50, which is 10 minutes from now, to determine if, the unexcused absence will appear." (Clerk)
At 05:50 the clerk reported that the law department advised adjourning the meeting and asking staff to coordinate with applicants about scheduling: "Mister Hahn, as it is now 05:50, law department recommends, adjourning this meeting and asking staff to speak with the applicants about a potential special meeting or any considerations, that could allow delay for the next regularly scheduled meeting." The Chair apologized for the situation, said they would try to make themselves available for a special meeting, asked Miss Scott to reach out to other members, and adjourned the meeting. No cases were heard; the items scheduled for today will be postponed pending a special meeting or the next regular BZA session.
