Town Manager Rick Ledwith told committee members the town will roll over $974 in unexpended America250 funds into the new fiscal year and add $750 donated by the Connecticut Humanities Council to support a final America250 event.
"So we have $974 left over...and then we're gonna add another $750 that was donated from the Connecticut Humanities Council," Ledwith said. He said the funds will support a culminating America250 event — the third annual West Hartford community celebration — to be held at Town Hall later this fall.
The committee treated this as a routine rollover and expressed general support for using the funds to stage the final celebratory event.
