Clerk reads long list of resolutions including HUD CAPER, grant awards and capital budget items

The clerk read a bundled resolution agenda that included a variety of administrative and substantive items: a resolution authorizing submission of the consolidated annual performance and evaluation report (CAPER) to HUD for the town's HUD entitlement grant program year 7/1/2025–6/30/2026; authorizations to accept grants for Port Jefferson harbor dredging and other DEC water-quality funds; bid awards for asbestos abatement and stormwater mitigation projects; and multiple capital-budget and property-acquisition items.

The clerk also noted resolutions authorizing travel and training for fire-prevention staff, setting public hearings for license agreements, and amendments to the town's fee schedule and tentative 2027 operating and capital budgets. No final votes on those resolutions were recorded in the public portion of the meeting transcript; the items were presented for the board's agenda and some were scheduled for upcoming hearings.
