The committee confirmed the awards reception will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m., and asked members to invite nominees and nominators and to publicize the date next week. "The event is Thursday, the 8th. 5 to 7," the Chair said when members settled the date and time.
Logistics were discussed in detail: one member agreed to secure flowers, jurors will receive thank-you notes, and the committee is finalizing trophy presentation details after a vendor reported engraving limits required adding an attached plaque. Members discussed whether an invoice or receipt would suffice for payment processing and agreed to submit proof that an invoice has been satisfied if needed.
