A speaker who said she lived in the West Bank recounted firsthand experiences of life under Israeli occupation, describing family arrests and violence, restricted movement and the destruction of farmland and homes.
"What does it mean to live under occupation for a Palestinian child? It means watching your father and your older brothers being imprisoned, beaten, tortured, and even killed in front of your own eyes by Israeli soldiers and by Israeli police," the speaker said, describing house demolitions, school closures and the risks posed to pregnant women at checkpoints. The speaker urged complete withdrawal of Israeli military forces from the West Bank and Gaza, dismantling of illegal settlements and recognition of refugee rights.
The testimony was presented as personal narrative and was not accompanied by documentary evidence in the rally transcript. The speaker linked local solidarity and protest to international demands and called for broader movement building.
