After-school STEM: 'Pet Palal Physicians' and 'DNA Dynamo Lab' aim to spark K–5 interest

A representative of Future Doctors and Scientist Academy described two after-school offerings for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The "Pet Palal Physicians" program lets children role-play medical and veterinary work, try equipment such as a stethoscope and take home a toy pet; the "DNA Dynamo Lab" provides experiment-based activities introducing genetics and biology.

The presenter framed both programs as hands-on ways to introduce young students to medical and scientific careers. Parents and guardians at the open house were directed to program materials and registration information at the booth.
