New student representative Mary 'MJ' Fulton sworn in; junior and senior student reps report on school life

The board welcomed Mary Fulton — who said she prefers to be called 'MJ' — and Mrs. Ron Casease administered the oath of office for the junior apprentice student representative role. MJ read the oath aloud and pledged to represent junior high school students at board meetings and provide monthly reports to the student council.

Senior student representative Ryan presented a brief report on the start of the 2026–27 year, noting that students are adapting to the newly implemented cell‑phone policy, upcoming class officer elections and senior‑sunrise events, and recent athletic results. Board members thanked both student representatives for their participation and encouraged continued student engagement.
