Cory Callahan, superintendent of the Wenatchee School District, urged residents to confirm their voter registration and district address ahead of the Nov. 3 bond election. "If you live within the district and are registered to vote, your voice counts on the bond on November 3rd," he said, adding that being a parent of a student or a property owner is not required to vote on the measure.
Callahan told listeners how to check whether the bond measure will appear on their ballot: "If you're not sure if you live within the district boundaries, check out the website vote.wa.gov and it'll show you exactly which measures are on your ballot." He said the online and mail registration deadline is Oct. 25 and noted that Washington State allows same‑day in‑person registration at the Chelan County Elections Office through Nov. 3.
The message framed who may participate and how to confirm eligibility, and it repeatedly directed residents to the official state registration site rather than to third‑party sources. Callahan encouraged those unsure about boundaries or registration status to use vote.wa.gov to avoid missing the opportunity to cast a ballot on the bond.
