District to appear in film; students invited to sign up as extras

The school district "will appear in a film and filming will take place when school is not in session," Dayton Barrett said, adding that students who want to appear as background extras can "sign up on the student splash page." The announcement was delivered as part of Barrett's student board report.

Barrett's summary did not include details about the production (such as the production company, dates, or whether the film is a commercial or educational project). Students interested in participating were directed to the student splash page for signup information.
