Board adopts consent resolution covering contracts, generator purchase, tutoring and curriculum items

At the Sept. 24 meeting the South River Board adopted a consent resolution that bundled routine and recommended approvals across committees. The finance committee recommended approval of items that included renewal of food services with Machios, painting services, shared services for school security, emergency generator purchase for the high school, an Imagine Learning tutoring contract supported by a grant, professional development and other instructional agreements. Instruction committee items included a new curriculum guide, field trips and the district chronic absenteeism plan. Human resources, policy and safety items were also included as listed on the agenda.

Vice President Nielsen moved the consent resolution; Mrs. Saddowski seconded. A roll‑call vote recorded yes votes from Mr. Budson, Mrs. Laauo, Mr. Nielsen, Mr. Anoway, Mrs. Saddowski and Mrs. Orbanic. The motion passed and the items were adopted as listed on the agenda.
