Council approves license for haunted-house event at Red Mill

Council reviewed and approved Resolution 26‑77, which authorizes the mayor and city clerk to sign a license agreement permitting a haunted-house event at the Red Mill. The mayor described the event as a recurring community activity that has been “quite successful and scary.”

Council recorded support and a voice vote approving the resolution. Council members later encouraged volunteer participation for event setup and noted complementary events at the Red Mill, including a Friends of the Red Mill chocolate walk and a fundraiser for a local soup project.
