Votes and actions at a glance: KNA approves minutes, authorizes thank-you letter and adjourns

Three formal motions were recorded and carried unanimously at the Sept. 5 meeting.

1) Thank-you letter for school donation: Upon motion duly made by Charlie Martin, seconded by Carrie Souza and carried unanimously, the board resolved that after Laurie provides details of the donation the KNA will write and send a letter of thanks to the Zuckerbergs and may copy the Garden Island News. (Motion mover: Charlie Martin; second: Carrie Souza; outcome: approved.)

2) Approval of minutes: Upon motion duly made by Carrie Souza, seconded by Jim O’Connor and carried unanimously, the board resolved to approve the July 4, 2017 minutes. (Mover: Carrie Souza; second: Jim O’Connor; outcome: approved.)

3) Adjournment: Upon motion duly made by Gary Pacheco, seconded by Jim O’Connor and carried unanimously, the board resolved to adjourn the Sept. 5, 2017 meeting at 8:30 p.m. (Mover: Gary Pacheco; second: Jim O’Connor; outcome: approved.)
