Lebanon City Schools’ Board of Education voted to approve a 10-year naming and sponsorship agreement with MAN Incorporated, a local employer. The contract calls for $25,000 a year for 10 years — $250,000 total — with the first $25,000 applied to the district’s indoor turf project and the remainder earmarked for the district’s legacy project and campus improvements.
Superintendent Severs told the board the company wanted a visible campus-level presence rather than naming a single building. "They gave their first $25,000 to the indoor turf project," Severs said, explaining the funds will help kickstart other legacy-project conversations. Board members discussed tiers of naming rights for other facilities and noted that larger gifts would be negotiated separately.
The motion to approve the agreement was moved and seconded; board members recorded affirmative votes in roll call and the motion carried. District staff said the agreement includes campus signage on Miller Road, announcements during events, and time-limited recognition rather than replacing existing facility names.
