Board schedules reviews, grant follow-ups and personnel items; insurance rep to present at 2 p.m.

Board members agreed the proposed policies and procedures manual circulated by email needs review and should be discussed at the next board meeting (the last Tuesday of the month for MCSS). A participant said they would remind members to read the draft prior to the meeting.

Separately, staff said they would follow up on a tourism grant, draft a mental-health letter, contact Jake about Hampton Road, investigate a personnel matter, and noted that a supplemental-insurance representative would present at 2:00 p.m. for interested employees. "There is a guy coming in at 2:00 for a supplemental coverage, insurance coverage almost like AFLAC," one attendee said.
