Lake Wales Charter Schools board approves minutes, financial reports and personnel items

The Lake Wales Charter Schools Board of Trustees completed a series of routine governance items Tuesday, approving work-session and regular meeting minutes and accepting financial reports for July and August 2026.

Board members moved and seconded the minutes and financial items in succession. The chair announced the first motion “carries” after roll-call affirmation. The August financials included personnel changes; trustees approved the list of personnel actions, which the board clerk had noted included several teachers listed as out of field.

The approvals allow staff to proceed with standard administrative steps tied to payroll and reporting. The board also approved a teacher salary-increase allocation for the 2026–27 year so the district can submit required paperwork on schedule. Motions were made and seconded on the record and confirmed by roll-call votes.
