Committees assign policy reviews and schedule facility tours

Committee chairs reported progress on policy reviews and that assignments to review and recommend policy changes are due in October. Anne Becknell said the Budget & Finance committee distributed policy-review assignments to pairs of members; the properties committee will focus on the rental facility policy and meet with staff to evaluate needed changes.

Director Turner said properties tours are scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. for committee members and chairs and will not be open to the broader public. Director Chapman described golf-course tours for Oct. 12 (Deer Valley, Desert Trails, Echo Mesa, Pebblebrook) and Oct. 26 (Stardust, Trail Ridge, Grandview and the Golf Lab), starting at 9 a.m.; both dates are planned to occur during course closures/overseeding.

Chairs asked committees to return recommended policy edits in October so the board can consider them during upcoming meetings.
