Committee approves compiled employee handbook and will forward it to full board

During the committee's business, members considered a compiled update to the employee handbook presented by Carrie Mickelson. Mickelson said the draft was primarily a consolidation and formatting update: "It'll um we just change the font, put a cover on it, and uh made it all look formatted and ready to go," she said, and added that references to board policies were included more clearly in the new version.

Committee members asked whether substantive policy changes had been made; Mickelson responded that the content had been previously reviewed and the present draft compiles prior decisions and clarifies policy references. The committee voted to forward the handbook to the full board for final action.
