Votes at a glance: Del Norte County supervisors approve consent items, donations and budget transfers

At its September 22 meeting, the Del Norte County Board of Supervisors approved several routine but consequential items by unanimous vote.

Key actions included approval of the consent agenda with corrections to item 4 and pulling a portion of item 10 for later consideration; authorization to accept a donation not to exceed $24,000 from the North Coast Crisis Team for sheriff's-office furniture and paint; and adoption of budget transfer number 6-8 in the amount of $39,156 within the Public Health budget to cover reentry services rendered in FY 2025-26.

Each item passed on roll-call votes with all five supervisors recorded in the affirmative. The board recorded motions and seconding speakers on the floor and directed staff to carry out the implementation steps listed in the meeting materials.
