Williamson County Commissioners Court approved several procurement and professional-services items Sept. 22, covering medical supplies, IT software and consulting, and facilities maintenance.
The court awarded IFB 26IFB63 for medical and pharmaceutical items to Life Assist Incorporated for the combined annual not-to-exceed amount read on the record and authorized agreement execution for the fiscal year starting Oct. 1, 2026. The court also approved purchase of additional Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise and Standard Core licenses in the amount of $427,726.80 for Information Systems via the TIPS cooperative and approved an amendment with GTS Technology Solutions to extend staff-augmentation consulting for Workday and related custom integration work; IT department funds will cover those costs. Commissioners additionally approved master service agreements for HVAC, electrical and plumbing services and awarded a mowing/landscape maintenance contract to Heart of Texas Landscaping (not-to-exceed $280,500 per fiscal year). All motions passed by voice vote, 5-0.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions about scope and funding sources for the IT consulting amendment and were told the work is ongoing and will be paid from departmental funds. Staff said facilities and maintenance contracts will be funded from listed sources in the agenda.
