Ravenette told the court there were two budget amendments: receipt of $71,226.23 from Alliance Insurance Company for a stolen 2026 Bobcat skid steer (funds to be used to purchase a replacement) and receipt of $83,408 from the state controller to reimburse district clerk expenses, of which $15,000 was requested to cover petty jury expenses for the rest of the year. "We received 4 total quarterly reimbursements from the state... the $83,004.00 8 was the last reimbursement we received," Ravenette said.
Commissioners approved both amendments 5-0. Ravenette then presented payroll and vouchers, listing a Sept. 11 payroll of $1,239,061.04 and itemized fund totals culminating in a grand total of $5,433,753.31 across funds. The court moved to approve the vouchers and payroll by a unanimous vote.
The budget amendments provide funding for a replacement skid steer and petty jury costs as presented; staff noted the county will use the insurance proceeds to purchase another Bobcat and will allocate the requested $15,000 to petty jury expenses.
