Stafford Center manager reports renovations near completion, fall events calendar announced

Brian Blum, representing Stafford Center management, told the board building and production projects are nearly complete: "We're about 98% finished with the lighting project" and roofing work is expected to finish the same week. Blum said stage decking is being replaced, ADA improvements were made to a walkway and landscaping and plaza resurfacing work is underway.

Blum also reviewed the Stafford Center's upcoming events, including Ballet Forte, a touring ventriloquist, an international weightlifting competition streamed globally, a Motown tribute with a dinner for about 700 people, and multiple Fort Bend Symphony performances and holiday shows through December. He invited board members to tour the facility to see mechanical and backstage improvements and to better understand how invested funds are being used to maintain and program the Center.
