Board approves relocation of Harmony Virtual Academy (Houston South) effective Nov. 30, 2026

The Harmony Public Schools board on Aug. 29 approved the relocation of Harmony Virtual Academy (Houston South District 101862) from 9321 West Sam Houston Parkway South to 1255 Enclave Parkway, Houston, Texas 77077, with the move effective Nov. 30, 2026. Staff told the board the virtual academy’s enrollment has increased from about 600 to approximately 1,000 students and that the school expects roughly 50–60 staff members at the new location, with potential expansion in coming years. "They moved into our last location last year, but they kind of outgrew the space because they're also sharing that space with our Houston South and West District," a presenter said.

Board members moved and seconded approval of the relocation; the motion passed by voice vote. Staff said the academy will occupy second-floor space at the Enclave Parkway site and that the district has sufficient room to accommodate projected growth. The approval directs administrative staff to complete relocation logistics and ensures the district can provide workspace and services for the virtual program as enrollment grows.
