CRA adopts FY27 budgets for multiple districts and approves small demolition contract

The board considered and adopted several CRA budget resolutions for fiscal year 2026–27. Attorney Corz McIntosh read multiple resolutions on the record, including an adopted FY 2026–27 budget of $9,430,672 for Cleveland Avenues districts 1–4, a $13,000,589,999 [sic in transcript] budget for downtown special districts as read on the record, and a $8,478,867 figure for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard districts 1–4. Each resolution was moved and passed by voice vote or roll call as recorded in the minutes.

The board also approved a contract for demolition of a recently acquired building at 2769 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, a property tied to McCollum Hall development; the cost as discussed on the record was approximately $16,000. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved the demolition authorization.

These agenda items were procedural and recorded as passed; staff will implement adopted budgets and proceed with the demolition procurement as authorized.
