At its Sept. 23 meeting the Town Board approved a variety of routine and substantive items: it approved minutes for Sept. 9 and Sept. 12; received a Parks & Recreation memo and confirmed work at the town pool will include removal of an old tennis court and installation of two dedicated pickleball courts; approved elimination of a $250 floodplain development permit fee; accepted MS4 stormwater reports for the period ending June 30, 2026; approved a film permit for Universal Television LLC to film at St. John's Plaza on Sept. 29 (rain date Sept. 30), and authorized hiring BST Gallagher Flynn for professional auditing services subject to engagement letter review.
Under personnel the board accepted the resignation of Craig Benedict from the Conservation Board and approved the probationary appointment of Emily Arriga Sandoval as office assistant in the Building Department effective Sept. 28, 2026. The board also voted to extend a special use permit timeline for a project at 263 Bedford Banksville Road for one year. Most items were approved by unanimous voice vote.
