Staff outlines Riverview Village public improvements: sidewalks, lighting and park connections under construction

Planning staff presented an overview of the Riverview Village public improvements being constructed to support the redevelopment, showing plans for repaving Laxmuth Lane and North Riverview Street with asphalt, brick sidewalks on the east side, brick crosswalks and new street lighting.

Staff described connectivity improvements to the West Plaza and the Dublin Link Bridge and said the project includes an eventual park entrance north of the Red House. Images and a time‑lapse camera available on the city's website were shared to illustrate the staging and progress of public works. The presentation emphasized that public infrastructure work is underway and will be phased to coordinate with the developer's reconstruction of private structures.
