Scores at a glance: nine firms evaluated for Hillsborough County playground services RFQ

The Hillsborough County evaluation committee announced final consensus totals for nine firms responding to RFQ2600357 (playground equipment installation, replacement and repair services). The committee used three scoring criteria and consensus scoring for each vendor. Final totals announced by the chair were: Playmore West — 92; Rep Services — 91; Dominica Recreation Products / PlayCore — 89; Bliss Products and Services — 86; Florida Recreational Products / Topline Recreation — 84; Play Works Play Sets — 81; Advanced Recreational Concepts — 79; Linear Plans / CoreCap — 78; Jamon Playgrounds — 60.

The committee emphasized that scores reflect only materials included in the proposals, and that missing certification copies, incomplete organizational charts and nonresponsive references affected some firms' totals. Procurement staff will proceed with the usual post-evaluation steps and notify proposers through the procurement portal.
