Auditor reports single finding; staff highlight Six Sigma training

Auditor Maria presented the committee's audit report and said there was only one finding, which related to inventory tracking. She described the finding in detail as a demonstration of how staff manage inventory and commended the storm room manager for careful tracking of high-value items.

"You will find my audit report in your packet, and you will see there was only 1 finding," Maria said, adding that the finding reflected detailed inventory documentation. Maria also noted that 10 IAA employees completed Six Sigma certification through a local, woman-owned firm as part of internal training.

Committee members thanked Maria and asked questions; no substantive audit exceptions were raised beyond the single, explained finding.
