The Stow City planning department continued a code‑enforcement proceeding for Violation V2676 at 2279 Graham Road for 30 days after the property owner said weather and lack of paid labor have delayed repairs. The planning representative told the hearing panel that staff visited the property that day, took photos and had "no major updates," and the presiding official proposed a 30‑day continuance with a conditional close if the work is completed in that time.
Property owner Mr. Clark told the panel he has purchased materials and removed some aluminum but has not finished repairs because of repeated rain and limited help. "I've been getting the uh tools and uh materials together and uh my buddy said he'd help me do it. I couldn't find anybody I could afford to hire to do it," Clark said. He later described a safety scare while working in wet conditions: "I was on this stool ladder thing and I'm taking off and the rain's running right off the roof right in my eye and I'm wondering what's in that water, you know?" The planning representative said the 30‑day arrangement "meets the objectives of the plan."
The presiding official told Clark, "Just get it done in the next 30 days, and we can close this out." The hearing record shows no formal vote; staff will monitor compliance and notify the owner if further action or another appearance is required. The case remains open pending the outcome of the 30‑day period.
