Susanna Mizzell Hubbs demonstrated a pop-up subscription form introduced in August using Granicus. She walked through entering an email, choosing topics (latest news, community events, meeting agendas, building permits) and subscribing; Hubbs said previous Mailchimp subscribers were migrated to the new system.
"Once you... hit subscribe, and then you fill that information out, you get this menu of options," Hubbs said, explaining the range of alerts residents can opt into and that unsubscribe links appear in every email.
