The Narberth Borough Finance Administration Committee approved its August minutes and heard a detailed monthly reconciliation from Treasurer Miss Dobbs at its Sept. 15 meeting. Chair June Spear led the committee through the consent business; the minutes were approved unanimously, 3–0.
"So this is my attempt, my 1st full attempt at doing a full end of month reconciliation, on my own, so, I think everything looks pretty good," Treasurer Miss Dobbs said, summarizing her review. She told the committee that while the borough’s overall budget position looks sound, several line items are trending above budget, including overtime for public works and some engineering services tied to capital projects. She flagged one specific variance: roughly $11,875 in increased costs on 2026 stormwater bump‑outs compared with earlier projections.
Dobbs said several charges that affect year‑end totals — annual software subscriptions and some debt servicing — have not yet posted and that the borough expects state reimbursements for eligible traffic‑planning and road‑construction expenditures to offset some capital outlays. The committee had no followup questions and moved on to other agenda items.
