Council approves America 250 softball game use of Dallas Mill Road ballfield and gym parking

The Pine Mountain mayor and council approved a request from Joy Foote to use the ballfield by Dallas Mill Road on Sept. 7 from 5:00–8:00 p.m. for an America 250 softball game and separately approved parking at the gym for shuttle pickup.

According to the minutes, Foote asked the town to "clean the field, and bathrooms, provide picnic tables, concession stand cleaning, trash cans & liners, confirm electrical hook-ups for music and announcers, check power and lighting"; councilmember Frankie Mabry moved to approve the request and James W. Trott, Jr. seconded. The minutes record the motions passing and the council approving parking at the gym area.

The decision records the requested town support (cleaning, equipment, trash service, electrical checks) but does not list associated costs or which town department will perform each task.
