Eric Savers, who identified himself as the tech administrator for MSHA, summarized a renewal and addendum with streaming provider LiveBarn that upgrades cameras and server infrastructure and clarifies responsibilities. He said the city attorney has reviewed and provided edits, and that the agreement acknowledges the city as owner while placing operations and maintenance responsibility with the tenant/association. "Basically, it's a free service for us as hockey for the city," he said, describing the equipment, management portal and blackout controls used by the association.
After brief questions about attorney review and final wording, a board member moved to approve the agreement and the board approved it on a voice vote. Staff noted the final form requires minor corrections (a misspelling) before signature and that MSHA leaders would sign the addendum acknowledging the city's limited role under the addendum.
