Trump highlights Rose Garden renovations, new helipad and offers Oval Office tours

President Donald J. Trump spent part of the event describing renovations to the Rose Garden and the White House exterior, saying the grounds were previously muddy and that new stonework and a carved granite helipad had been installed. He invited guests to view the helipad and walk through the Oval Office for photos.

Trump framed the improvements as practical and aesthetic upgrades, saying moldings that had "fallen off the building" were replaced and that the White House is now in "beautiful shape." He presented the helipad and interior tours as amenities for visitors; no construction contracts, costs or specific vendor details were provided during the remarks.
