During the public-comment portion a resident identified as Miss Coleman asked for clarification about a planned smoke-detector giveaway scheduled for the coming weekend (Saturday). She asked whether the event would include dual (combination) smoke/CO detectors or separate units.
The board/staff replied that the organizers would provide both devices but as separate units rather than combination units. "They're they're not dual, but they're giving away both. They're separate units," the chair said in response. Miss Solomon confirmed the clarification before the board moved on to other business.
