Votes and actions: Brownsburg RDC Sept. 17 meeting (minutes, resolutions, spending plan)

The Brownsburg Redevelopment Commission took the following formal actions at its meeting on Sept. 17:

• Approved the June 2, 2026 meeting minutes by voice vote (motion, second; outcome: approved).

• Approved an initial resolution to terminate the 2021 Veil Properties TIF allocation area and advance the amendment through the Plan Commission and town council for public hearing and confirmatory resolution (motion passed by voice vote; outcome: approved).

• Approved a declaratory resolution to remove roughly 43 parcels from the Wind Farms TIF allocation area and advance the amendment through the statutory review process (motion passed by voice vote; outcome: approved).

• Voted to forward a positive recommendation to the town council on the proposed 2027 TIF budgets as part of the town's budget process (voice vote; outcome: approved).

• Adopted the RDC annual spending plan for calendar year 2027, to be submitted to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance after council action (voice vote; outcome: approved).
