Multiple residents used the public comment period to press commissioners on service and process issues.
A District 4 resident told the commission she lives in an area that has become a frequent drop-off point for animals, described an aggressive male cat, said she has reported problems to animal control with limited response, and asked for better enforcement and for tax dollars not to be wasted. "I have reported off to animal control... he could not do anything about it," the resident said.
Josh Pino, speaking for Franklin Manor residents, asked the commission to revisit a 15 mph posted speed limit in the subdivision and submitted a petition seeking a change to 25 mph. He said engineering and similar nearby developments use 25 mph and that records explaining the 15 mph setting were not produced in response to a public-records request.
Other speakers criticized recent commission rhetoric and raised questions about how recent local election determinations were handled; several asked for greater transparency and responsiveness from the commission. Commissioners and staff acknowledged receiving petitions and asked staff to follow up on requests that required administrative action.
