Public Service Director Howell presented a staff recommendation that City Council approve the annual miscellaneous concrete repairs contract with PATCON Services LLC for $421,233.28.
Howell said sealed bids were opened on July 22, 2026, that PATCON's bid is $421,233.28 and that the city budgeted $500,000 for the contract. "Staff recommends that the city council approve the miscellaneous concrete repairs contract for $421,233.28 to PATCON Services LLC," Howell said. Councilmember Franklin moved to approve the contract and Councilmember Tyner seconded; the Mayor announced the motion carried unanimously.
Howell outlined the contract scope as removal and replacement of concrete infrastructure including curb and gutter, drive approaches, sidewalks, pavement panels, ADA ramps and site restoration; prices are fixed for the contract term and may be adjusted by the Consumer Price Index on extension. The initial term runs from Oct. 1, 2026 through Sept. 30, 2027, and the vendor may be renewed annually by council without rebidding.
