Superintendent doctor Clarity told the board the district has published a combined "5 Years of Progress" and 2025-26 annual academic report and is distributing it widely to residents and community partners. "It's currently available on the Verona's website, and will be published on social media," doctor Clarity said, and added that hard copies will be mailed to residents in both English and Spanish based on families' language preferences.
Marcy, who led production, described a narrative-driven format designed to represent students, staff and families through photos, graphics and readable narrative. "We always think about what do we want to share and how we want to share it with our community so that it's accessible," she said. The report was reorganized around the district's strategic framework priorities rather than departmental sections to highlight interconnected work and make the content more engaging.
Board members praised the publication as a positive public-facing document and asked for distribution details; superintendent staff confirmed the mailing will go out Monday and the report will appear in the September newsletter and be available at municipal visitor centers and libraries. The board encouraged residents to read it in sections rather than cover to cover and to contact the district with questions.
