Public works seeks grant for RAD route to elementary, notes small Spearfish Creek change order

Public works told the council staff will seek a state Transportation Alternatives Program grant to fund a phase of the recreation-path implementation that would connect the end of North Canyon Street to the elementary school as recommended in the safety-action plan. The department also listed a small final over/under change order for the Spearfish Creek bank stabilization project to reconcile plan quantities with field-measured quantities.

"We have the final over under change order for the, the, Spearfish Creek bank stabilization project," said Adam, describing typical small adjustments. He also previewed the grant item: "We have a resolution, for authorizing the submission of the grant application for the state transportation alternatives grant program" and explained the application is for a RAD route that connects North Canyon Street to the elementary school.
