GoCal officials told the Rancho Cucamonga City Council they plan to stage Fault Line Fest at Morongo Field on Oct. 16-17, a two-night music event intended to attract regional visitors and spur local spending.
"On October 16th and 17th, we're bringing Fault Line Fest to Morongo Field," Ray Rora, GoCal's chief operating officer, said. He named Bush as the Friday headliner and Dustin Lynch as the Saturday headliner, with Mitchell Tenpenny opening for Saturday.
Rora outlined the event's production and marketing expenditures, saying the organization had budgeted approximately $550,000 in talent and agency fees, about $200,000 for staging and backline production, $150,000 for labor and staffing, and roughly $50,000 for advertising and promotion. "The objective goes beyond producing two evenings of concerts," Rora said, adding that GoCal aims to encourage visitors to "spend their money here, eat here, stay overnight, and experience all that the city has to offer."
Council discussion was limited to thanks and recognition of the presentation; no council action was requested during the meeting. The event announcement was presented as part of GoCal's regional tourism update.
