At its Sept. 17 session the Comal County Commissioners Court approved a set of routine action items by motion, including land-plat amendments, procurement committee appointments and several budget transfers.
The court approved a lot combination in Vintage Oaks at the Vineyard (creating Lot 1527R) and a consolidation in Scenic Terrace (creating Lot 27R), with staff recommending approval of complete applications. It also approved an agreement with a developer to extend a surety related to Park Village Subdivision Unit 7 until the City of Bulverde issues a release.
The court approved a first amendment to the professional-services agreement with Park Hill to add schematic-design tasks for a maintenance facility on the Goodwin property, with staff saying no additional budget requests were necessary. Commissioners named members to evaluation committees for geotechnical and surveying RFQs (Marcus Pacheco, Jacqueline Andrada, Robert Boyd, David Volbrick). The court also approved using Justice Security funds to buy ballistic shields for Constable Precinct 1 to meet TCOLE requirements.
Finally, the court approved a $14,000 line-item transfer in district court to cover administrative-region dues and multiple transfers in the road department to replenish equipment and landfill costs after recent flooding. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
