Mansfield assessment board meets Sept. 12; no appeals filed, 2027 calendar set

The Town of Mansfield Board of Assessment Appeals convened Sept. 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Conference Room A at Town Hall. Chairwoman Barbara Vaughan called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and noted that Members Barbara Vaughan and Shannon Sion were present and that Member Doryann Plante was absent.

The board opened the meeting for public comment and recorded that "No members of the public [were] present." The agenda item for appeals on Sept. 12, 2026, likewise recorded that "There were no appeals." Member Shannon Sion moved to accept minutes described in the record as "the 3/23/2026 meeting," and Chairwoman Vaughan seconded the motion; the minutes do not record a roll-call tally or explicitly state the motion result. Later in the session, Chairwoman Vaughan moved to adjourn, seconded by Sion, and the meeting was recorded as adjourned at 10:30 a.m.

The board also established its 2027 meeting schedule; Barbara Vaughan submitted a signed covering note listing meeting dates in March 2027 and Saturday, Sept. 11, 2027, all to be held in Conference Room A. The meeting minutes were signed and submitted by Barbara Vaughan as chair.
